GrabStack

Sort your screenshots into stacks you can find again.

GrabStack reads only your Screenshots album and helps you group what you have saved, from recipes and boarding passes to things you want to buy. There is no account, and your screenshots stay on your phone unless you ask for help sorting them.

GrabStack is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.

What GrabStack does

Everything here works the same way on iPhone and on Android.

  • New screenshots wait in your Inbox

When you take a screenshot, it lands in the Inbox so you can file it, keep it or delete it in a couple of taps.

  • Stacks you name yourself

Group screenshots into stacks such as Recipes, Holiday or Jackets, and open any stack with one tap.

  • Search by the words inside a screenshot

GrabStack reads the text in your screenshots on your phone, so searching for “gate” finds the boarding pass and “orzo” finds the recipe.

  • A Want list for things you might buy

Keep the jacket or the lamp you spotted in one place, and set a reminder to look at it again later.

  • Stack suggestions when you want them

Pick some screenshots and GrabStack can suggest a stack for each one. This is the only feature that sends screenshots off your phone, and it asks you first.

  • Clean up old and duplicate screenshots

Find old screenshots you never filed and copies taken seconds apart, then delete them after a confirmation.

  • Share a stack

Send a stack as one collage image or as the full-size screenshots, through any app on your phone.

What stays on your phone

GrabStack has no account, no ads, no tracking and no analytics.

Always on your phone

  • Your screenshots and the library GrabStack builds from them.
  • Your stacks, your Want list and your reminders.
  • The text GrabStack reads from your screenshots so you can search them.
  • Your settings.

Only when you ask

Stack suggestions use Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. The first time you use them, GrabStack explains what will be sent and asks for your permission.

After that, only the screenshots you pick are sent, as smaller copies, and only when you tap to sort. With Pro you can also switch on automatic suggestions for new screenshots, which asks for your agreement on its own screen first. You can turn suggestions off in Settings at any time.

Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play

GrabStack will be free to download, with an optional Pro upgrade for people who want more. Until it is out, you can try the web demo, which uses made-up screenshots, and tell us what worked and what did not.
